July 1 is Daughters Day

In a communication received from President B N Kumar, Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) shall be observing 1st July as Daughters Day, which is the birthday of Kalpana Chawla, the Indo-American astronaut. 

This year our focus is on #shakti4beti communication for Beti Suraksha that is in consonance with the Government of India's initiative of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.

The PRCI has planned a three pronged campaign: 

1. To petition PM on declaring July 01 as National Daughters Day.  Please sign the petition.
